Venue Hire Details
Capacity for the venue is 200 including all attendees, DJs, staff and crew.
Fees
The hire fee for the Venue for public holidays and Friday or Saturday evenings is NZD $750 plus GST.
We have structured our hire fee so as to reward event organisers who organise events which do well for the bar, with a scaled deduction based on the performance of the event.
A scaled deduction will be applied to the hire fee based on the average spend per hour over the bar as follows.
· $700.00 p/h = $150.00 deduction, $600.00 plus GST total fee.
· $850.00 p/h = $300.00 deduction, $450.00 plus GST total fee.
· $1000.00 p/h = $450.00 deduction, $300.00 plus GST total fee.
· $1150.00 p/h = $600 deduction, $150.00 plus GST total fee.
· $1300.00 p/h = $750 deduction, $0 plus GST (also $0) total fee.
A quick example, as we know this isn't the most straightforward fee structure is:
If you organised an event which ran for 5 hours, and bar sales totalled $4251.00, the hire fee for the venue would be $450.00 plus GST ($300.00 deducted, for an average spend per hour of $850.20.)
The booking will be confirmed only upon receipt of the full hire fee payment. All payments must be made in full prior to the event date.
Equipment
The following equipment and services are included in the hire:
3 × CDJ 2000 Nexus 2 (or higher) and DJM 900 NXS 2 (linked)
Third Eye Hi-Fi sound system with 2x subswoofers, 2x kicks and 2x tops.
2 × DB Tech 12 inch monitor speakers
Lighting system with tube lighting, 4x pars, 2x moving heads, 2x hazer and technician where required.
Sound technician
Lighting technician
Security guards
Any additional equipment required must be agreed to and notified to the Venue at least 2 weeks in advance of the event.
An EFTPOS terminal and stamp can be provided by the Venue if required.
